Natchez Trace Parkway Traffic Rerouted at Northern Terminus

Natchez Trace Parkway officials announce that the exit ramp from the Parkway to TN 100 East will be closed and traffic will be rerouted to McCrory Lane. Portions of the Natchez Trace Parkway Impassable

The Natchez Trace Parkway is closed to all traffic from Mississippi Highway 8, near mile marker 230, north to the Alabama state line. The Parkway is currently experiencing dangerous and impassable road conditions from Hwy 8 north to the Alabama state line. Rangers report that dozens of vehicles are stuck or have gone off the roadway due to the hazardous conditions. The Parkway should not be considered as an alternate route to state roadways.
