June 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30 – July 6, 7, 13 & 14, 2012 – “The Miracle Worker” Play, Helen Keller Birthplace, 300 North Commons W. Tuscumbia  Fri. and Sat. evenings (only) at 8 pm.  Performed, in an outdoor theatre, on the grounds of  Helen Keller’s Birthplace, this broadway-style play recalls the childhood of this deaf-blind child, later known as “America’s First Lady of Courage”, and her gifted teacher, Anne Sullivan.  Now in it’s 51st season.  Admission charged.  256.383.4066 or 888.329.2124
