Natchez Trace Parkway Reopens Roadway between Milepost 114 to 123

Tupelo, MS: The Natchez Trace Parkway reopened the roadway between milepost 114 and milepost 123, from Ratliff Ferry Road to Hwy 43, on March 12, 2020.  Due to remaining debris on the road shoulders, the speed has been reduced to 40 mph in that area.

The River Bend restrooms and Cypress Swamp Nature Trail are still closed.  The trail is unsafe for visitors. The reopening of these sites will be posted on our Facebook page and website.

Natchez Trace Parkway, as well as the National Park Service, considers safety to be the top priority of our public service and apologize for the inconvenience this is to our park visitors.

We continue to express our thanks and gratitude in your understanding of the closure.
