If someone told you one of Mississippi’s best state parks looked more like Appalachia than the Mississippi you probably picture in your head, would you believe them? We probably wouldn’t have either. Then we visited Tishomingo, Mississippi, for the first time several years back while working our way south along the Natchez Trace Parkway, and the landscape caught us completely off guard.
