TUPELO, MS: Acting Superintendent Laura Perdices stated from January through July 2019, the Natchez Trace Parkway experienced an overall slight decrease in the number of recreational visits. “An average of 535,862 visitors per month used the Parkway from January through July 2019 compared to 545,547 who were counted in 2018.”

These numbers continue to put the Natchez Trace Parkway on track to be among the top ten most visited National Park Service sites. The Natchez Trace Parkway has numerous recreational activities to match any interest or experience level.
