Within these walls, located at 108 East Main St., you will discover and experience local history with exhibits of early Native Americans, Meriwether Lewis for whom Lewis County is named, the pioneer era, the mining era and early Hohenwald. You will also enjoy viewing a world-class collection of exotic game animals from remote regions of the globe.  The Discovery Center, which is under construction on the Museum campus, will also allow visitors to explore the relationship between humans and nature and then to see how humans have adapted to the environment.
