Natchez Trace CompactTUPELO, MS: A traveler advisory is in effect for the Natchez Trace Parkway from Jackson, MS (milepost 100) to the Alabama state line (milepost 310).
The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings and advisories for these areas. A mixture of sleet, freezing rain, ice and snow can be expected beginning Monday evening and extending into Tuesday evening. The greatest area of impact on the Parkway is expected to be between Kosciusko, MS and Tupelo, MS.
