The Harlem Ambassadors are coming to Wayne County, Tennessee! The Waynesboro
Rotary Club has teamed up with the Harlem Ambassadors for a family-friendly evening of high-flying action, slam dunks, and fun. The Harlem Ambassadors will compete against a team of local residents.
The Harlem Ambassadors work with local non-profit and service organizations to offer
community fundraisers with all proceeds from ticket sales going to fund local programs and
services. The Ambassadors serve as role-models for young people; they are drug-free, college-educated men and women, talented at both playing basketball and delivering positive comedy routines.
The event will be held at the Wayne County High School gymnasium on February 2,
2013 at 7:00PM. All proceeds from ticket sales will fund local programs and services. “We’re looking forward to providing an event the entire family can enjoy together” said John Hickman, President of the Waynesboro Rotary Club “As with all Rotary fundraisers, our focus is on enriching the lives of the members of our community while raising much needed funds that assist other organizations in reaching their full potential.”
The Saturday event will be held at the Wayne County High School gymnasium on
February 2, 2013 at 7:00PM. Tickets are $ 5 and available at area businesses January 8 through day of the game. Tickets will also be available at the door until sold out.
