Law Enforcement and Emergency Services vehicles are not the only vehicles working on the road shoulders and highways. Parkway mowers and permitted tow companies also provide valuable services along the roadway; and just like emergency vehicles, highway maintenance and tow trucks also fall under the state’s MOVE OVER laws. 

Rangers Utilize Unmarked Vehicles

Rangers will now be using unmarked vehicles to patrol the Natchez Trace Parkway. After a six month pilot program showed a dramatic increase in the number of traffic stops for distracted and aggressive driving, the decision was made to order additional unmarked units.
