The Natchez Trace: a National Scenic Byway stretching 444 miles from Natchez to Nashville

While the Natchez Trace Parkway route was open during the government shutdown, we are happy to announce restrooms are now open and visitor centers are beginning to reopen! See full details below:

  • The Parkway Visitor Center in Tupelo, MS reopens January 26, 2019. Open daily, 9:00am-4:30pm
  • The Parkway Information Cabin in Ridgeland, MS reopens February 1, 2019. Normal hours: Friday and Saturday, 9:00am-4:00pm
  • Mount Locust Historic Inn and Plantation near Natchez, MS reopens January 31, 2019. Winter hours: Thursday-Sunday, 9:00am-4:30pm
  • All restrooms are open, with the exception of Garrison Creek. A leak is currently being fixed, but will soon reopen. Stay up-to-date on our Facebook page or the Parkway NPS page.
